Fuoco Burger was founded in 2018 by Marco Ferrante and Sofia De Luca, two lifelong friends with one dream: bringing artisan burgers to the heart of Lecce's baroque old town.
Every day, we source our beef from local Pugliese farms, our vegetables from Masseria Ferrante's garden in Nardò, and our buns from Forno Cataldo — our neighbor since 1952.
The cooking? Only over olivewood charcoal. No shortcuts. No compromises.
"The best burger I've ever had in Salento. The Baroque with burrata is a religious experience. Staff was incredibly warm, and the atmosphere felt like a cozy hideaway. We'll definitely be back."
"We drove all the way from Brindisi and it was absolutely worth it. The meat melts in your mouth — the olivewood char makes all the difference. Try The Inferno if you love a good kick!"
"Excellent ingredient quality and generous portions. There's a bit of a wait on weekends, but the staff is upfront about timing. The rosemary fries are award-worthy. Only downside: limited seating."
"I'm vegan and finally found a place where the plant burger isn't an afterthought. The Garden is genuinely incredible — made with real care. My wife, a devoted carnivore, loved her Classic too."
